Genetics, aging, lifestyle, and sun exposure all contribute to the appearance of the skin. Over time, the contours of the face change in specific ways. Many people are concerned with flattened cheeks, deepening creases around the nose and mouth areas, and softening of the jawline. Plastic surgery used be the primary method of correcting the signs of aging, but more people are turning to nonsurgical modalities today. We are proud to offer a powerful combination of RF energy in the form of EmbraceRF.
What is EmbraceRF?
EmbraceRF utilizes two innovative radiofrequency techniques to alter the condition of the skin and underlying tissue. These techniques include FaceTite and Morpheus 8.
Embrace RF is a combination of two proprietary technologies: FaceTite, and Morpheus8. Both of these technologies combine in the Embrace RF to present a powerful and effective tool for RF therapy. FaceTite involves RFAL, or Radio-Frequency Assisted Lipolysis, which stimulates three-dimensional remodeling of the fibrous septa beneath the skin. Morpheus 8 involves fractional radiofrequency combined with microneedling. This aspect of treatment achieves Subdermal Adipose Remodeling, or the reconfiguration of the fat tissue beneath the skin.
EmbraceRF is commonly used to treat the lower face, including the jowls, marionette lines, and nasolabial folds. Treatment also extends to the upper neck to reduce and mold the fat that naturally accumulates here and to tighten the overlying skin. While the lower face tends to demonstrate the most dramatic improvement, EmbraceRF can be applied to any area of the face where tightness, firmness, elasticity, and contouring need improvement.

Benefits of EmbraceRF
There are several benefits to EmbraceRF nonsurgical facial rejuvenation, including:
- Only local anesthesia is needed.
- Uniform treatment achieves superior results compared to single-modality techniques.
- EmbraceRF is FDA-cleared and proven for safety and efficacy.
- Treatment affects both superficial and deep dermal tissue.
- Built-in safeguards keep risks to a minimum.
- Up to 40 percent improvement in skin tightness was demonstrated in clinical studies.
- No stitches or visible scarring results from treatment.
- Minimal downtime is needed for recovery.
What makes EmbraceRF different?
EmbraceRF is unlike any nonsurgical skin-tightening treatment we’ve seen to date. This combination of RF technologies achieves the most substantial effects within multiple layers of the dermis, from adipose tissue to the epidermis. The use of internal and external applications provides optimal results for people whose skin is not lax enough to need facelift surgery and not elastic enough to achieve good results with other techniques, such as neck liposuction.
EmbraceRF is the only treatment available at this time that offers adipose remodeling of facial tissue. Adipose remodeling is the concept of molding the fatty tissue in pivotal areas to sharpen the jawline and rejuvenate the neck and lower face. This strategic remodeling enables patients to retain fullness where needed to complement the refined jawline.
The EmbraceRF Treatment
Treatment is performed in the office using local anesthesia. Some patients also wish to include a mild sedative to soothe their nerves during their procedure. To begin the treatment process, the doctor marks the areas where treatment will occur. Injections are then administered to numb the entire area. Once numbness is achieved, a few entry points are made to accommodate the FaceTite device, which has two “arms;” one that passes beneath the skin and one that passes over it. RF energy is sandwiched between the inner probe and the outer applicator. Tissue is treated to achieve a predetermined temperature to provoke contraction and stimulate collagen remodeling. Temperature is continually monitored throughout the procedure via built-in safety mechanisms that provide immediate feedback.
The second phase of treatment, Morpheus 8, is applied to the entire face. This technique administers fractional radiofrequency to the dermis via powered microneedles. This device has the deepest reach of all microneedling applicators, approximately 4 mm.
The entire procedure is completed in about an hour.

The RFAL aspect of treatment can result in noticeable swelling that lasts a week or two. The microneedlign aspect of treatment can make the skin dry and somewhat sensitive as tissue remodeling occurs. This can be managed with the use of an approved moisturizer applied as directed. Sunscreen is also necessary to prevent UV damage on sensitive skin. The discomfort that occurs after treatment is generally mild enough to manage with over-the-counter medication. Often, patients who undergo treatment on a Thursday are back to work and other activities by Monday.
